Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile General Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. This role is essential for maintaining efficient workflow and supporting the overall productivity of our warehouse distribution center.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and products from trucks and containers.
- Fabricate and build components as needed for various projects within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform basic mechanical tasks to troubleshoot equipment issues when necessary.
- Participate in inventory management activities, ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Experience with order fulfillment practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Good physical stamina, capable of lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
