Saw Machine Operator
Job Overview
The Saw Machine Operator is responsible for operating saw equipment to cut aluminum materials according to production specifications, drawings, and work orders. The operator ensures accurate measurements, maintains quality standards, and follows all health and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate saw machines safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and production schedules.
- Measure and mark materials accurately before cutting.
- Cut aluminum materials to specified lengths and dimensions.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
- Report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and use required PPE.
- Assist with material handling and other production duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or saw operation experience is an asset.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to read production drawings and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule and Compensation
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 16:00
