Blackline Aluminum® Privacy Policy

1. Definitions
Blackline Aluminum Systems (2597835 Ontario Inc.), operating as Blackline Aluminum (“Blackline“, “we“, “our“) designs and manufactures aluminum window‑wall systems. This policy applies to all personal information collected through https://blacklinealuminum.com (the “Site“).
For the purposes of this document: (i) “Personal Information” means information about an identifiable individual; (ii) “Site” means https://blacklinealuminum.com and any sub‑pages; (iii) “Blackline”, “we”, “us” means Blackline Aluminum Systems (2597835 Ontario Inc.), operating as Blackline Aluminum; (iv) “You” and “your” refer to any user of the Site.
2. Collection of Personal Information
We collect Personal Information when you (i) submit a quotation, contact, and file access request, brochure request or purchase order; (ii) create an account for product technical data brochure; (iii) communicate with us by e‑mail, phone or social media; or (iv) browse the Site and consent to cookies.
3. Use of Personal Information
Personal Information may be used to:
(i) respond to enquiries and provide quotations, drawings and products; (ii) improve the Site, our products and our customer service; (iii) send marketing communications only where you have consented and in compliance with Canada’s Anti‑Spam Legislation (“CASL”); (iv) detect and prevent fraud or misuse; and (v) comply with legal or regulatory requirements.
4. Disclosure of Personal Information
We do not sell or rent Personal Information. We may disclose it:
(i) to service providers (hosting, couriers, payment processors) who are contractually bound to protect it; (ii) within the Blackline Aluminum for the purposes stated herein; (iii) to governmental or law‑enforcement authorities when required by law; and (iv) to a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, provided that the successor agrees to honor this Policy.

6. Security and Retention
Information is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes set out above or as required by law, after which it is anonymized or securely destroyed.

Under Canadian privacy law you may (i) request access to the Personal Information we hold about you; (ii) request corrections; (iii) withdraw consent to non‑essential processing; and (iv) lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Requests should be directed to the Privacy Officer.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
